“Where are our votes?”asks the lady from Manicoré/AM. A significant number of Brazilians claim their votes disappeared on the High Electoral Court’s website. Thousands of electors from countryside cites, where there are many supporters of Bolsonaro, have recorded videos on which they say there are ZERO votes for Bolsonaro in their electoral districts, just like the one below..
The controversy about the election numbers became serious when technicians pointed out “unusual” voting patterns. ZERO votes for Bolsonaro and 100% of the votes for Lula in some districts, in a very competitive scenario this is at least different from the historical behaviour of electors.
Internet has become flooded with videos of angry electors claiming their votes vanished. To make things worse the High Electoral Court imposes censorship to journalists, influencers and micro influencers who support president Bolsonaro and who claim the elections were fraudulent. Under the argumentation these supporters would spread fake news, Brazillian courts are banishing them from internet social media plataforms, even though free speech is a constitutional guarantee in Brazil.
Brazilians who believe on the fraud have mapped the countryside cities that present ZERO votes for Bolsonaro so that electors in these cities can check if they were “zeroed”, the High Electoral Court’s link for each locality has been made available on Google Maps. Only a very technical audit may determine for sure if there was a fraud and the extension of it. Up to now the only fraud we are sure about happened in Petrobrás (the brazilian giant oil company partly owned by the federal government of Brazil) during the years Lula da Silva was the president and had a great influence in the company’s affairs.
